The definition phase is used to firm up the framework conditions of a project. The project requirements are specified and itemised in detail in the planning phase. A strategically appropriate procedure model is also chosen and all work packages are defined and ordered in a structure plan. The resources are planned in compliance with the Critical Chain Project Management to achieve an optimum flow in the project. The result of the planning phase is the MCG project plan.
