Munich Consulting Group GmbH has developed from a small start-up company into an international consulting firm. We currently employ more than 250 people. As a partner to industry and medium-sized manufacturing companies, we offer our expertise of Industrial Engineering, Product Compliance, Customer & Business Solutions, Organisational Change and Contracting & Recruitment to our customers.
We support each other by giving open and honest feedback and sharing our knowledge. We act immediately when someone needs help and look for solutions together across all areas of expertise.

In July 2005, the Munich Consulting Group was founded in a small student dormitory by the friends Dr. Christian Grams and Dr. Markus Schöppler. Having gathered extensive experience in the consulting industry, the two of them combined their expertise with their desire to establish a new way of consulting. Little did they know, that they would start a success story which has been opening new chapter after chapter for more than a decade now.
As a result of its steady growth, the Munich Consulting Group moved to its former headquarters on Frankfurter Ring shortly after its formation. The two founders knew from the beginning that their medium-term goal was offering a comprehensive service portfolio to their customers – from product development through the entire product life cycle. It was only corollary then to establish two further divisions – Logistic Consulting and Quality Management – to the already existing Product Compliance division in 2006.
When economic crisis hit Europe, the Munich Consulting Group made a virtue out of necessity and dared to venture into international projects.
What started with projects in China and the USA quickly lead to the company’s representation in numerous countries worldwide.
The Munich Consulting Group’s consistently sustained growth lead to further expansion. The office space on Frankfurter Ring had grown too small and a larger, more representative location was sought.
In spring 2011, the company moved its headquarters to the new office space with modern infrastructure at Parkstadt Schwabing.
At the start of 2012, the company set up offices in Stuttgart, Memmingen and Bonn. This step ensured the Munich Consulting Group’s presence throughout Germany, and the topics of project coordination and project management became even more important.
In the course of a brand relaunch, the service portfolio of the Munich Consulting Group was further specified in 2019. Today, all services are organized in the four business units Industrial Engineering, Product Compliance, Customer & Business Solutions, and Contracting & Recruitment. In addition, the complete CI was renewed, such as a new distinctive logo and a thus renewed external appearance.
In 2022 the conversion of the premises at the Munich location was realized. The aim was to create a modern and agile working atmosphere that meets all the requirements of the modern working world. The premises are now divided into three areas. The “Public area” contains the reception area with in-house and meeting rooms and is open to all visitors. The “Semi-public area” includes a kitchen/bar and lounge with a variety of seating options, a self-service zone for water and hot beverages. And the third zone is the “Private area” and is central point for daily project business.
Tobias Gabler and Christian Zöllner have been appointed Managing Directors of Munich Consulting Group in 2023. Together with Dr. Christian Grams, they form the extended management level of the company to further drive growth and strategic orientation.
Thomas Horn has been appointed as an authorized signatory. He is responsible for personnel development as a whole and thus supports the operational orientation and management of the Munich Consulting Group.
We are proud to support the Peak Performer Stiftung, which was set up by our founder and Managing Director Dr. Christian Grams. The foundation has set itself the task of teaching children and young people the joy of performance. It is not just about top sporting performance, but also about developing a positive attitude and self-motivation. Values such as discipline, perseverance and team spirit are promoted through activities and camps. Prominent athletes and entrepreneurs act as role models to help inspire young people and develop their potential.
The Munich Consulting Group is taking another step in the fight against the Corona Pandemic and was able to make all employees a vaccination offer, true to the motto "everyone can, no one has to".
