Our Early Warning System: recognizing legal changes at an early stage - ensuring global sales capability.

For many companies, it is a major challenge to distribute their own product portfolio worldwide in a long-term and legally compliant manner while always meeting the diverse regulatory and legal requirements of the target markets. International product compliance is a complex matter, which is why we want to actively support our clients with our many years of expertise.

Our “Early Warning System” offers our customers the opportunity to ensure the long-term marketability of products, including packaging, both for products already on the market and for new developments. Our legal experts and consultants ensure that our customers are always aware of the latest status of the binding obligations relevant to them. We do this by continuously monitoring and analyzing global regulatory requirements in collaboration with our global partner network. The “Early Warning System” includes comprehensive support in the form of regular exchange rounds, the preparation of specific elaborations on new relevant regulations and the provision of “ad hoc” support for all of the company's contacts.

At a glance.

The challenge

A globally active company wants to place its products in all selected markets in a legally secure manner and also be informed about relevant changes in the future in order to maintain an overview at all times.

Collaborative solution

The analysis of existing markets and products and the subsequent implementation of the adapted “Early Warning System” form the basis for future success. We support our customers as a strong partner in securing their sales capability.

Achievement

The “Early Warning System” identifies potential compliance risks at an early stage and the procedures developed can be implemented in good time. The result: legally compliant sales with a competent partner at your side.

The challenge

Monitoring all regulatory requirements relevant to the product portfolio is an extremely time-consuming task. The ever-increasing number of European regulations in recent years alone often represents a challenge for the employees of our client companies within the time available.

The joint development of the product portfolio and the customer's specific requirements are at the forefront of the “Early Warning System” project. First, a standardized requirements profile of the customer's various stakeholders is jointly developed.  The relevant regulatory requirements are then reviewed and prepared in a comprehensible manner. During this collaboration, the elaborations can be continuously adapted to the respective legal and temporal circumstances.

Collaborative solution

The “Early Warning System”, which is individually tailored to the needs and products of our customers, enables an early response to changes in regulatory requirements. Ensuring sales capability reduces the risk of negative consequences associated with non-compliance. By communicating on an equal footing, we work with our team to develop suitable procedures for our client and advise on their implementation.

Achievement

With the introduction of the “Early Warning System”, our customers can react with foresight to current and future requirements. This early awareness enables products and processes to be adapted as early as the development phase. The cooperation, which is set to last several years, is based on our excellent understanding of the product portfolio, the internal structures and, last but not least, our many years of expertise in the area of product compliance. In this way, we create a common understanding of the requirements and provide the customer with implementation recommendations that lead to direct added value within the company. We will continue to support our customers as a strong partner in the global “regulatory jungle” with our “Early Warning System”.
